Feeling unworthy?? Me too... but not anymore because of _____!

Lately I've been struggling with feeling worthy. Am I worthy to pray? to be a servant? to help a friend? to even exist? I always see the flaws in myself before the good stuff, like most people. However, my insecurities have reached a new level since living at home.
ANYWAY. I was talking with a dear dear friend of mine who reminded me that these feelings are NOT VALID because of Jesus Christ.
Saying you are "unworthy" is a big slap int he face to God and all that Jesus did for us ... yeah I am referring to giving his own life for our sins.
It's good to strive to be better and use your insecurities as motivation to be the best version of yourself you can be, BUT do not let your fears, insecurities, and inability to trust God be what controls your life.
Only HE has the power to control your life. AMEN!
